Seasonal Home Maintenance in Albuquerque →Handyman Service Across Albuquerque, NM
Albuquerque spreads across the Middle Rio Grande Valley, a city of more than half a million people laid out in four quadrants around Central Avenue and the railroad tracks. Its homes span a long timeline. Old Town grew up around the plaza and San Felipe de Neri church in the late 1700s, and nearby Huning Highland and the Downtown neighborhoods still hold Victorian and early brick homes from the railroad era of the 1880s. Nob Hill, the University area and the Country Club neighborhood filled in between the 1920s and 1940s with Pueblo Revival, Territorial and Spanish-style houses. After World War II, Sandia Base, Kirtland and the labs brought a wave of families, and tract builders covered the Northeast and Southeast Heights with stucco and brick ranches. From the 1980s on, the Westside took off with Taylor Ranch, Paradise Hills, Ventana Ranch and the subdivisions out toward the volcanoes. One morning we're re-securing plaster in a 1930s Pueblo Revival cottage; that afternoon we're mounting a TV in a two-story Westside stucco home that's barely ten years old.
Getting around the city means knowing the Big I, where I-25 and I-40 cross just north of downtown, plus the long arterials that carry most daily traffic: Central Avenue along old Route 66, Montgomery, Menaul and Paseo del Norte running east to west, and Coors, Unser, San Mateo, Wyoming and Tramway running north to south. The river crossings at Montaño, Alameda, Paseo and I-40 can back up at rush hour, so we group our visits by side of town. The Sandia Mountains fill the eastern skyline, the tramway climbs to the crest, and every October the Balloon Fiesta turns the north end of town into a slow crawl of traffic and early-morning crowds.

Jobs we handle a lot in Albuquerque
Our week across Albuquerque covers plenty: stucco-adjacent caulking and drywall cracks from daily heat-and-cold cycles, sticking doors in older homes with shifting foundations, canales and roof drains packed with sand after a windy spring, swamp cooler startups and shutdowns, faucets and toilet valves crusted with mineral scale, sun-bleached gates and fence boards, ceiling fans for bedrooms that heat up under a flat roof, and make-ready lists for landlords between tenants near UNM and Kirtland.
Questions we hear around Albuquerque
Do you cover the whole city?
Yes. That includes Downtown, Old Town, Barelas, Huning Highland, Nob Hill, the University area and the Southeast Heights; the Northeast Heights from Uptown to the foothills along Tramway; the North Valley and South Valley along the river; and the Westside from Taylor Ranch and Paradise Hills to Ventana Ranch and the neighborhoods near Petroglyph National Monument. If your address is in Albuquerque, we've almost certainly worked close by.
My house is built of real adobe. Do you work on those?
We do. True mud adobe is still common in the North and South Valleys and around Old Town, and it needs breathable materials. We patch interior plaster with lime or gypsum products that let the wall dry out, avoid sealing adobe with cement or plastic coatings that trap moisture, and look for the source of any water before covering up the damage it caused.
Do you help landlords and property managers turn over rentals?
Yes. Between tenants we patch and touch up walls, adjust doors and replace worn hardware, fix running toilets and dripping faucets, swap blinds and smoke alarms, and clear the small items a walk-through tends to flag. Give us the move-in date and we'll schedule around it.
Getting Started Is Simple
Tell us what's nagging you
Call, text a photo, or send the form. A sentence and a snapshot is plenty — we'll ask if we need more.
Say yes to a clear price
You'll see the number before we load the trailer. Approve it, pick a time, and that's the whole negotiation.
Enjoy a shorter list
We arrive when we said, do the work carefully, tidy up, and walk you through it before we wave goodbye.
The Albuquerque Way of Doing Business
Built for the High Desert
Albuquerque sits a mile up, with fierce sun, dry air, spring winds that sandblast everything and summer monsoon bursts that dump an inch of rain in an hour. We repair with that in mind: sealants and paints rated for heavy UV, hardware that won't rattle loose in a forty-mile-an-hour gust, and fixes that respect how stucco, adobe and flat roofs actually behave out here.
A Straight Price Before We Start
You get a clear number before any tools come out, usually from a few photos and a short call. No padded hours, no line items you didn't agree to. If the job turns out simpler than it looked, the price comes down, and if we open something up and find a bigger problem, we stop and talk it through with you before going further.
One Visit, Your Whole List
Hand us everything at once: the closet door that drags, the faucet that drips, the ceiling fan you bought last summer, the gate the wind keeps slamming. We show up with a stocked truck and work straight down the list, and our licensed electricians and plumbers handle the wiring and plumbing connections, so you aren't booking four different people for one weekend's worth of chores.
Local, and Easy to Reach
We live with the same cooler startups, blowing dust and frozen hose bibs you do, and we know how long it takes to get from the Westside to the foothills at five o'clock. When we give you a time window, we keep it. And because we work here every day, we're a quick call away afterward if anything needs a second look.
Towns & Neighborhoods We Cover
We're based in Albuquerque and cover the whole city plus the towns around it, about a 22-mile reach. That runs from the South Valley and the Westside mesa up through the North Valley to Los Ranchos, Corrales and Rio Rancho, and east to the Sandia foothills.
Got a list? Let's shorten it.
One quick call or text gets you a real price and a real arrival time — usually within the week.
